In expressing hope to have a harvest among the Romans, Paul is using a farming metaphor to express what he
hopes will happen if he is able to come to Rome
Just as a farmer hopes to be able to harvest a crop as a result of
his efforts in farming, so Paul hopes that he will see a return on his efforts if he is able to come
and minister to the Romans. He is, no doubt, hoping:
