Romans 1:8-15 - Outline and Summary 

Paul expresses his thankfulness to God for the faith of his readers and tells them of his desire and plans (both past and present) to visit them, that they might be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith and that he might preach the gospel in Rome (Romans 1:8-15)

 

•         Paul shows (by revealing the contents of his prayers for the saints at Rome) how he regarded them (Romans 1:8-10)

 

•         He tells them of his desire to visit Rome and explains why (Romans 1:11-13)

 

•         He acknowledges both his obligation and his eagerness to preach the gospel to all men without distinction, including those who were in Rome (Romans 1:14-15)
