Romans 4:3 – “credited” (Greek: logizomai - logizomai)

To “credit” means “to count, impute, or place to ones account

When it says that Abraham’s faith was “credited” to him as righteousness it means that when Abraham believed God:

God imputed Christ’s perfect righteousness to Abraham.

God placed Christ’s righteousness to Abraham’s account and therefore

God counted Abraham as having the righteousness of Christ.
