Prior
to the coming of Christ, Gods people had been almost exclusively Jews. What
change had taken place in the composition of Gods people by the time of the
writing of the Roman letter to which Paul addresses himself in Romans 9-11?
In
the first 5 verses of Romans 9, Paul expresses great anguish and sorrow over
the lost condition of his fellow Jews. What does Paul say in verse 3 that he
wishes could happen if it meant salvation for the Jews?
Sometimes
those who are ignorant of the scriptures will say, The Bible never says Christ
was God, it says He was the Son of God. What does
Paul say in Romans 9:5 that contradicts this idea?
