The Triune God

•         There is one God

–        “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.” (Deuteronomy 6:4 )

•         God exists in three persons

–        “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name [singular] of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19)

•         Each person is fully God

•         Each person is distinct from the other persons
