Romans 2:12-16 – Review With Answers

 

•        In the first sixteen verses of Romans 2, Paul explains two principles that God will use in judging the world (both Jews and Gentiles). What are they?

–        God will judge men by what they have done - according to their works

–        God will judge men by the light (knowledge) that they possessed - according to the revelation of God’s law that they have lived under

 

•        By what Law will the Jews be judged?

–        The Mosaic Law

 

•        The Gentiles did not have the Law of Moses. Will they still be judged by God? If so, then by what standard?

–        Yes, they will be judged according to the “law on their heart”.
